Therapy
Most individuals develop coping skills and resources to help them navigate their way through life. The range of methods used may be varied, but what was useful in the past may not be as effective now.
There are times when life’s challenges may require additional support in the form of professional help.
I offer therapy for individual clients (ranging in age from adolescents to elders) and for couples. I welcome clients of all races, cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities, religious and spiritual paths. My approaches to treatment are informed by a number of Guiding Sources.
I also offer classes including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, “Bringing Mindfulness to Life”, and Mindful Eating. I offer a monthly group for people who have completed mindfulness classes with me or elsewhere. I co-lead Mindfulness Meditation every Monday in Orleans, and I have begun a group for Insight Dialogue that meets monthly.

Rates and Insurance
The cost of therapy is always an important consideration. If you are paying out of pocket, my fee is $150 for 50-55 minutes.
If you have insurance that covers psychotherapy, the cost to you is significantly less. The healthcare plans I work with include:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield,
- Harvard Pilgrim
- Optum
- Tufts Health Plans
- United Behavioral Health
If you have one of these plans, you pay your co-pay and I bill your insurance company. Depending on the diagnosis, you may have 25 or more visits a year.
